Just passed by this site about giving an opinion on which is better, an organized or a messy desk? The site, www.office1000.com is actually having a contest about it and will be giving away a free computer vacuum to whoever makes the most convincing argument for one side or the other.
Which side am I on? I’ll choose the organized desk. Having one organized desk will give you more advantage than having a messy one. It looks neat and good so you won’t have to make excuses especially when your boss is around. Being organized also reflects your personality. It makes you look more professional in what you do. That means plus points for you if your boss notice it. You will be able to work effectively and you’ll be focused on what you are doing if you know where to start since your desk is well organized. Looking for files and stuff you need to do all your work will be at ease since you can easily find them. It saves you time. Time is very important especially when working. Being organized will be a great way to make time efficiently and will make an individual even more productive.
